⚠️ Action required: DeltaTwin API has been updated to v2.0. Please update your deltatwin-cli. Read our technical notes for details.

Modules

DeltaTwin® Service is a cloud-based environment, completed by client tools, command line and web application. The Command Line Interface (CLI) is more dedicated to scripting and to developers, and the “Studio” GUI enables standard users to easily navigate into the DeltaTwin® component, to modify, to configure and to execute them.

DeltaTwin® Service enables users to manage projects, named here DeltaTwin® component or DeltaTwin® as an abbreviated name. A DeltaTwin® component is a unit brick allowing users to create new added value results, named artifacts. DeltaTwin® components are composable so that users can easily reuse existing bricks and combine them to build more complex DeltaTwin® components.

Using DeltaTwin® Service will help you to quickly put in place a working environment. As digital twins related activities may require huge storage capacity and computing resources (RAM, GPU, cluster…), the service aims to facilitate the infrastructure configuration and the data management, thanks to a DeltaTwin® Drive module.

The building of the processing chain, its orchestration execution and monitoring is managed and facilitated by a DeltaTwin® Run module.

The key features of the service are:

  • Cloud-based service with Web User Interfaces and CLI.
  • Generic definition of DeltaTwin® components, inherited from standards such as DTDL, XMILE and MIMs.
  • Starter Kit with sample DeltaTwin® and datasets for quick on-boarding.
  • Drive to store and share user’s data
  • Studio as graphical editor for creating DeltaTwin® components, building workflows, and composing simple DeltaTwins to more complex systems.
  • Runners to execute models, perform simulation and compute results (Artifacts).
  • Gallery to visualize and share Artifacts.
  • Client-side components (Drive synchronization, command line interface, …) to allow working locally or offline.
  • Integrations to client applications or other platforms/services.

Modules

DeltaTwin® Service allows users to access DeltaTwin® components built by many contributors, institutions, communities, companies or individuals. It is an ecosystem for networked and collaborating digital twins. The users can also build and run their DeltaTwin® components in minutes by searching, reusing or composing with existing DeltaTwin® components to benefit from their models, events, processing resources or resulting assets.

Delta service is composed of 3 main modules:
